Bio: Hilary H. Thompson

Director of User Services & Resource Sharing, University of Maryland Libraries

Hilary Thompson has supervised interlibrary loan at the University of Maryland Libraries since 2012. Her interests include cross-departmental collaboration, employee development, and improving access to global information resources. As chair of the American Library Association’s RUSA STARS International Interlibrary Loan Committee, she coordinated the translation, distribution, and analysis of the committee’s 2019 international ILL survey. With Kurt Munson and others, she has published articles analyzing the committee’s 2015 international ILL survey results in Interlending & Document Supply and portal: Libraries and the Academy.
