Bio: Kimmo Tuominen

Dr. Tuominen works as the University Librarian (director) and Professor at the Helsinki University Library. In addition, he is an adjunct professor (docent) at the University of Oulu. He was the President of the Finnish Coalition of University Libraries in 2015 – 2016, Finnish Research Library Association in 2010 – 2013, and Finnish Association for Information Studies in 2007 – 2008 (more at https://now.libraries.fi/lobbying.html). He was also the co-chair of the National Committee of IFLA WLIC 2012 congress.

His papers have been published in Journal of American Society for Information Science and Technology, Journal of Documentation, Information Research and The Library Quarterly as well as in international compilation works and national journals.
