Veranika Babaryka-Amelchanka, Head of the Department of Research, Scientific and Methodological Activity; I. S. Lupinovich Belarus Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (BelAL).

Ms. Babaryka-Amelchanka graduated from the Belarusian State University, Faculty of History (2007). Since 2009, she has been working at the Belarus Agricultural Library in the capacity of Leading Librarian of the Document Delivery Sector, Junior Research Associate of the Scientific and Bibliographic Department of Remote User Service. Since 2017, she’s been Head of ‘FAO Centre’ Research Department, which was recently reorganiyed into Department of Research, Scientific and Methodological Activity.

Ms. Babaryka-Amelchanka is an author (co-author) of about 30 publications on various aspects of library and information activities (library and information services, resource sharing, rare editions of the Belarusian Agricultural Library, scientometric research, integration of national scientific information into the international information space, role of libraries in the scientific communication). She’s a member of the Belarusian Library Association.
