Bio: Andy Appleyard

Andy Appleyard is Head of Operations at the British Library which includes – Document Supply, Reading Room supply, Imaging and Digitization, Partnerships and Licensing, Customer Services and the Public Lending Right.

His career has been largely in the commercial (manufacturing) sector, 14 years of which were spent at the UK base of the 1st tier automotive supplier, Nippondenso (Toyota), as Plant Director.
